Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 5 inches, mainly above 2500 feet elevation. Locally higher amounts possible over the highest elevations of northeast Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph through this evening.

Portions of the east Tennessee mountains and southwest Virginia.

* WHEN...
Until 1 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute across higher elevations of east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
