At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles north of Hickory, or near Bethlehem, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Taylorsville, Hickory, St. Stephens, Bethlehem, Stony Point, Love Valley, Lake Hickory, Granite Falls, Lookout Shoals Lake, and Longview.
