At 1154 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Baynes to near Hillsborough to 10 miles southwest of Lillington to Shannon. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, Cary, Chapel Hill, Sanford, Smithfield, Oxford, Roxboro, and Hillsborough.
