Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 16 at 11:28AM EDT until March 16 at 11:30AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds to 50 mph are still possible with these thunderstorms.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for central North Carolina.
