Southwestern Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia...

Until 1145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 838 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Little Tumbling Creek, Little River, Indian Creek, Clinch River, Pounding Mill Branch, Tumbling Creek and Laurel Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
