At 119 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Manakin to near Amelia Courthouse to near Keysville. Movement was southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Richmond, Petersburg, Powhatan, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Blackstone, Crewe, Victoria, Kenbridge, McKenney, Moseley, Chester, Mannboro, Fort Lee, University Of Richmond, Virginia State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Tuckahoe, and Highland Springs.
