At 1209 AM EDT, radar indicated showers were located along a line extending from Smith Mountain Lake State Park to Danville to near Jericho. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these showers.
Locations impacted include...
Danville...
Altavista...
Yanceyville...
Bethel...
Hurt...
Chatham...
and Gretna.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these showers, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
