* WHAT...
Flooding conditions caused by excessive rainfall persist but will slowly improve overnight.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including mainly northern portions of Alamance, Durham and Orange.

* WHEN...
Until 300 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding near and adjacent to creeks and streams along with low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 114 AM EDT, Widespread heavy rain that occurred on Sunday which produced between 3 and 8 inches of rain across the area has ended. Most rivers and streams have stopped rising and will begin to recede later tonight. However, creeks and streams will remain high overnight and lingering flood waters will be slow to improve. Use caution when traveling tonight as it is difficult to identify the dangers of flooding at night.

Durham, Hillsborough, Mebane, Rougemont, Eno River State Park, Bahama, Lake Michie, Carr, Gorman, Bethesda, and Union Ridge.
