Very cold wind chills as low as 5 to 12 below zero across the North Carolina mountains and as low as 5 degrees east of the mountains expected.

* WHERE...
Portions of western North Carolina and portions of the South Carolina Upstate.

* WHEN...
From 6 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...
The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
