At 1027 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles east of Badin Lake to Chesterfield. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Asheboro, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Randleman, Troy, North Carolina Zoo, Hamlet, Biscoe, Seagrove and Liberty.
