* Until 1215 AM EST.

* At 1133 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located near Wharton, or 13 miles southeast of Madison, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes.
This snow squall will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Kanawha, western Raleigh, northeastern Wyoming and southeastern Boone Counties, including the following locations... Whitesville, Sylvester, Prenter, Naoma, Bolt, Arnett, Dorothy, Kopperston, Lester, and Stickney.
