Portions of central Virginia, northwest Virginia and western Virginia, including the following counties: in central Virginia, Albemarle, City of Charlottesville, Greene and Orange.
In northwest Virginia, Madison, Page and Shenandoah. In western Virginia, Rockingham.

* WHEN...
Until 1215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 835 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
