* At 811 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding due to thunderstorms producing heavy rain in numerous locations across the warned area, including Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, and Mebane.
Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
