A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Johnston, Nash, Person, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne and Wilson.

* WHEN...
Until 9 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain associated with Tropical Storm Ophelia may result in flooding. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible.
