Portions of north central North Carolina, including the following counties, Caswell, Rockingham and Stokes and Virginia, including the following counties, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Halifax, Henry and Pittsylvania. * WHEN... From noon EDT today through late tonight. * IMPACTS... Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Recent rainfall has moistened the ground over the piedmont of Virginia and North Carolina. Numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
