Portions of north central North Carolina, including the following counties, Caswell, Rockingham and Stokes and Virginia, including the following counties, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Halifax, Henry and Pittsylvania.

From noon EDT today through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Recent rainfall has moistened the ground over the piedmont of Virginia and North Carolina. Numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. These storms will produce heavy rainfall rates and may track repeatedly across the same locations.
