The rain has ended but the runoff from the earlier thunderstorms will continue through 5AM. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Appomattox... Charlotte Court House... Phenix... Red House... Clover... Bent Creek... Pamplin City... This includes the following streams and drainages... Armistead Branch, Abbott Branch, Bear Creek, Bear Branch, Black Walnut Creek, Beaverpond Branch, Alabama Creek, Austin Creek, Bent Creek, Appomattox River and Blackfoot Creek. |
