* At 9:45 AM EST Thursday the stage was 56.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 54.0 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 28.6 feet Tuesday morning.

* Impact...
At 56.0 feet, Several low lying areas flooded and backwater affected on both sides of the river.
