Portions of central and south central Virginia, including the following counties, in central Virginia, Campbell. In south central Virginia, Charlotte. * WHEN... Until 715 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Dunnavant Creek, East Branch Wards Fork Creek, Buck Branch, Entry Creek, Butterwood Creek, Austin Creek, Bear Creek and Falling River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brookneal...
