Increased fire danger will result across all of central North Carolina from 12 PM to 8 PM this evening. The combination of dry fuels, relative humidity as low as 20 to 25 percent, and southwest winds gusting 20 to 30 mph will lead to increased fire concerns.
Refer to your local burn-permitting authority on whether you may burn. If you do burn, exercise extreme caution.
