The Flood Warning continues for the Ohio River at Portsmouth.

* Until Friday afternoon.

* At 11:00 PM EST Monday the stage was 49.2 feet.

* Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Tuesday morning to a crest of 54.8 feet early Wednesday afternoon.
It will then fall below flood stage late Friday morning.

* Impact...
At 55.0 feet, backwater flooding affects portions of Sciotoville, New Boston and other sections outside of the flood wall area. Backwater flooding along Pond Creek near West Portsmouth floods some county roads.
