Southwestern Gallia County in southeastern Ohio... Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio... Cabell County in central West Virginia... Northern Lincoln County in central West Virginia... Southeastern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... Southern Mason County in western West Virginia... Putnam County in western West Virginia... Wayne County in western West Virginia... * Until 500 AM EST Monday. * At 928 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated another round of moderate to heavy rain moving into the warned area. Rural and urban flooding is ongoing and is likely to worsen in some locations tonight. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Expect area streams, creeks, and rivers to continue rising through the overnight. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Huntington, Ashland, Ironton, Nitro, Grayson, Louisa, Winfield, Coal Grove, Olive Hill, Wayne, Hamlin, Chesapeake, Proctorville, Blaine, Beech Fork State Park, Cannonsburg, Lake Vesuvius, Yatesville Lake State Park, Grayson Lake State Park and Carter Caves State Park. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.  |
