Portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, in southwest Virginia, Tazewell. In southeast West Virginia, Mercer. * WHEN... Until 500 PM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS... Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 833 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding continues along the Bluestone River near Falls Mills. At 800 AM EDT this morning, the stage was 7.1 feet and flood stage is 7.0 feet. The river is beginning to fall and should fall below flood stage later this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
