At 309 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Graham to near Seagrove to near Badin Lake. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Durham, Chapel Hill, Sanford, Albemarle, Pittsboro, Troy, Carthage, Siler City, North Carolina Zoo and Badin Lake.
