THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 109 IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 18 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA BRAXTON CALHOUN CLAY GILMER NICHOLAS ROANE WEBSTER IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA LEWIS POCAHONTAS RANDOLPH UPSHUR WIRT IN SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA BOONE FAYETTE KANAWHA MCDOWELL RALEIGH WYOMING THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BECKLEY, BUCKHANNON, BURNSVILLE, CHARLESTON, CLAY, CRAIGSVILLE, ELIZABETH, ELKINS, FAYETTEVILLE, GARY, GASSAWAY, GLENVILLE, GRANTSVILLE, MADISON, MARLINTON, MULLENS, OAK HILL, OCEANA, PINEVILLE, RICHWOOD, SAINT ALBANS, SOUTH CHARLESTON, SPENCER, SUMMERSVILLE, SUTTON, WAR, WEBSTER SPRINGS, WELCH, AND WESTON.
