At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Alton to Prospect Hill, or about 4 miles west of Roxboro. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and minor flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Roxboro, Rougemont, Concord, Carr, Mayo Reservoir, Bahama, Bethel Hill, Bushy Fork, Moriah and Berea.
