Patchy dense fog has developed mainly over Forsyth, northern Davidson, and far western Guilford counties this morning. This area may continue to expand southeastward and affect a larger portion of the Triad through 8 AM.
Visibility of less than 1 mile should be expected, but may drop to as low as 1/4 of a mile with short notice in isolated locations. Slow down, use low beams, and provide extra time to reach your destination safely this morning. Conditions should rapidly improve after 9 AM.
