These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Smithfield, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Dunn, Benson, Pope AAF, Spring Lake, Erwin, Coats, and Four Oaks. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 93 and 70. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 320 and 338. ![]() |
