Flash Flood Warning issued July 1 at 11:29PM EDT until July 2 at 12:45AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 1129 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the area, leaving only intermittent light rain. However, between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain fell earlier this evening. Localized flash flooding is expected to continue into early Wednesday morning.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
