Flash Flood Warning issued June 23 at 12:43AM EDT until June 23 at 5:15AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 1243 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain producing thunderstorms which prompted the warning have moved south.
However, light to moderate rain continues falling across the same region. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected as water continues to collect in low lying spots such as streams and creeks.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
