At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Newburg to near Salem. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Clarksburg, Grafton, Philippi, Bridgeport, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Salem, Anmoore, West Milford, Lost Creek, Flemington, Moatsville, Rosemont, Knottsville, Nestorville, Wolf Summit, Meadland, Tygart Lake State Park, Thornton, and Galloway.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 107 and 124.
Route 50 in West Virginia near mile marker 61, and between mile markers 66 and 82.
