* At 930 PM EST, Flooding from heavy rains over the weekend remains a widespread issue across the warned area. Area streams, creeks, and rivers are still running very high and fast, and are in flood in many cases. Along the mainstem rivers, backwater from the feeder streams and creeks will be an issue well into Tuesday. Some area river gages, however, are showing signs of water recession, and most locations, if they have not crested already, should crest overnight. Continue to heed road closures due to flooding.
