At 739 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms across Chatham, Orange, and Alamance counties. These thunderstorms could produce weak tornadoes and gusty winds.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Siler City, Carrboro, and Mebane.
