Flash Flood Watch issued August 12 at 6:28AM EDT until August 12 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has expanded the * Flash Flood Watch to include portions of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, including the following areas, in Maryland, Central and Eastern Allegany, Extreme Western Allegany, and Washington. In Virginia, Clarke, Eastern Highland, Frederick, Shenandoah, Warren, and Western Highland. In West Virginia, Berkeley, Eastern Grant, Eastern Mineral, Eastern Pendleton, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Morgan, Western Grant, Western Mineral, and Western Pendleton.

* From noon EDT today through this evening * A cold front will move into the area Wednesday and then stall out. Numerous slow moving showers and thunderstorms will pose a risk of flash flooding. Thunderstorms could produce one to two inches of rain with isolated amounts up to four inches possible.
