The Flood Advisory will expire at 545 PM EDT this afternoon for portions of north central and northwest North Carolina, including the following areas, in north central North Carolina, Surry. In northwest North Carolina, Alleghany NC, Ashe and Wilkes.
Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
