The Flood Warning continues for the Ohio River at Portsmouth.

* Until Friday evening.

* At 12:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 52.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...
The river is expected to rise to a crest of 55.3 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.

* Impact...
At 55.0 feet, Backwater flooding affects portions of Sciotoville, New Boston and other sections outside of the flood wall area. Backwater flooding along Pond Creek near West Portsmouth floods some county roads.
