Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches and ice accumulations up to a trace with localized areas up to a tenth of an inch of icing.

Portions of northwest North Carolina High Country and southwest Virginia.

Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...
Untreated roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will be slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.
