At 813 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms with heavy rainfall along a line extending from near Plyler to Indian Trail. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake, Biscoe, Plyler, Fairview In Union County, Locust, Norwood, Badin, and Oakboro.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 38 and 42, and between Mile Markers 47 and 51.
