Flooding caused by excessive and repetitive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Davidson and Forsyth.

* WHEN...
Until 800 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, urban areas, and near small creeks and streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 624 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate that between 2 and 5 inches of rain has fallen across parts or the Triad. While the rain has fallen over a long period of time, any additional heavy rain will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Clemmons, Linwood, Denton, Welcome, High Rock and Sedge Garden.
