Portions of central Virginia and south central Virginia, including the following counties, in central Virginia, Appomattox, Buckingham and Campbell. In south central Virginia, Charlotte.

Until 1115 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 919 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to thunderstorms has ended. However, minor flooding is expected to continue through late evening. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen since 7pm.
- Maple Springs Branch and Left Hand Fork south of Appomattox is the most likely place to experience minor flooding.
