At 749 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking outflow winds from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Roxboro to near Rougemont to near Hillsborough to 10 miles northeast of Siler City. Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Wake Forest, Butner, and Franklinton.
