At 718 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northeast of Carthage, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Carthage, Broadway, Gum Springs, Moncure, Cumnock, Seminole, Raven Rock State Park, Tramway, and Glendon.
This includes US 1 between Mile Markers 69 and 84.
