Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... Washington County in southeastern Ohio... Northwestern Roane County in central West Virginia... Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia... Wood County in northwestern West Virginia... Mason County in western West Virginia... * Until 400 AM EST Monday. * At 930 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated that the heavier rain across the warned area is starting to let up. However, high water impacts will likely persist through tonight. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen so far today. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Parkersburg, Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Jackson, Wellston, Nelsonville, Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, Ripley, Spencer, Pomeroy, Glouster, McConnelsville, Mcarthur, Oak Hill, Beverly, Rio Grande, Albany and Elizabeth. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.  |
