At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from 8 miles east of Roxboro to 8 miles north of Oxford to Henderson.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Warrenton, Norlina, Stovall, Middleburg, Macon, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Kerr Lake, Lake Gaston, Wise, and Southpointe And Morningstar Marinas.
