The Flood Advisory will expire at 1230 PM EDT this afternoon for a portion of southwest Virginia, including the following areas, Smyth and Wythe.
Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. However, light rain will continue for another hour or so. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
