* At 5:15 AM EST Monday the stage was 23.3 feet.

* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 29.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight.

* Impact...
At 30.0 feet, Water floods golf course and homes along low sections of river. Roads flooded and closed throughout Tornado and surrounding areas.

* Flood History...
This crest compares to a previous crest of 29.0 feet on 02/28/1962.
