At 602 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chesapeake to near Hamlin. Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs, even trees in saturated soils, and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hamlin, Julian, Alum Creek, West Hamlin, Sweetland, Sod, Woodville, Ashford, Branchland, Salt Rock, Griffithsville, Alkol, Yawkey and Myra.
This includes Route 119 between mile markers 56 and 62, and between mile markers 64 and 65.
