At 302 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hamlet, or 7 miles south of Rockingham, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Rockingham, Hamlet, Hoffman, Pinebluff, Dobbins Heights, Wagram, Gibson, Laurel Hill, Sandhills Game Land and Camp Mackall.
