* At 9:00 AM EST Tuesday the stage was 40.9 feet.

* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 41.5 feet just after midnight tonight.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.

This crest compares to a previous crest of 41.6 feet on 01/28/1978.
