At 837 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Lincolnton to 8 miles west of Uptown Charlotte to 5 miles south of Rock Hill, and moving northeast at 40 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Rock Hill, Uptown Charlotte, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Monroe, Gastonia, Central Charlotte, South Charlotte and Northeast Charlotte.
Wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible in these areas.
