A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Lee, Orange, Randolph and Wake. * WHEN... Until 615 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 305 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or may begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates across southern Wake county are estimated at 2 to 5 inches per hour, especially near Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
